Journalist Irma Krat handed over a family icon to Andriy Yermak before the court session. The former official is suspected of laundering 460 million hryvnias.

Before the court hearing in the case of the former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, journalist Irma Krat presented the former official with an icon, reports a UNN correspondent.
Details
The icon presented to Andriy Yermak by the journalist is, according to her, the "most valuable family relic of her entire life."
"This is a gift made by my mother—an icon of the Holy Virgin Mary. This is the most precious thing I have held in my hands in my entire life, just so you understand. Therefore, I strongly request that this icon be handed over to Andriy Yermak,"
When asked why she is defending Andriy Yermak, the answer was brief: "He is now being protected not only by Irma Krat, but also by the Holy Virgin Mary."
As a result, the former official did indeed accept the gift from the woman.
Meanwhile, Irma Krat continued to give interviews to journalists, claiming that Andriy Yermak is innocent.
"The world does not want Irma Krat, Andriy Yermak, and other Ukrainians to return nuclear status to our state,"
However, the woman continued to defend Andriy Yermak even after the start of the court hearing was announced. As a result, Judge Viktor Nohachevskyi reprimanded the woman for disturbing the order during the session.
"Baptism will not help you; I will remove you from the courtroom. Please do not disturb the order. This is a court hearing,"

NABU and SAPO suspect Yermak of legalizing 460 million UAH through elite construction near Kyiv. Prosecutors are requesting either arrest or bail set at 180 million UAH.
