President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed Andriy Tupikov as head of the SBU's Counterintelligence Department, UNN reports.
"To appoint Andriy Anatoliyovych Tupikov as the head of the Counterintelligence Department of the Security Service of Ukraine," the decree reads.
Tupikov is a major in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. On August 13, 2015, he was awarded the Order of Danylo Halytskyi for personal courage and heroism in the defense of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath during hostilities and in the performance of official duties.

Previously, Oleksandr Poklad was the head of the SBU Counterintelligence Department.
In 2023, Zelenskyy appointed him deputy head of the SBU.
