President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced an update to the work of the NSDC - Rustem Umerov will focus on communication with partners and the implementation of such programs as Drone Deals and the Ukrainian Anti-Ballistic Program "Freya", while Ihor Klymenko, who is to take the position of secretary, will focus on "internal activities for the resilience of Ukraine", reports UNN.

According to the President, taking into account Ihor Klymenko's experience in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, "the NSDC's work will increase the component of internal activities for the resilience of Ukraine, coordination between defense and security structures, as well as countering challenges such as cyber threats from the Russian side and the activities of criminal networks."
