President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced personnel changes in the ministries and emphasized the need to accelerate the selection processes for heads of state-owned enterprises - specifically, "Forests of Ukraine" and NNEGC "Energoatom," UNN reports.
"We discussed in detail with Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko the personnel issues that need to be resolved. In particular, in the near future, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will implement changes at the level of deputy ministers. It is important to have effective communication with parliamentarians regarding vacant ministerial positions,"
The President also emphasized that "there must be a prompt reset of designated state-owned enterprises."
"A transparent and professional competition is needed for the position of the new head of the 'Forests of Ukraine' company, and the industry as a whole requires new approaches – more modern, clean, and capable of supporting state revenues. I have instructed the Prime Minister to accelerate the processes of change in state energy companies, primarily in 'Energoatom.' A new supervisory board of the company has already been formed, and the selection of a new head of the company by the supervisory board must be accelerated – all necessary tools and powers are in place for this," Zelenskyy noted.
He noted that "separately, we discussed the work of state-owned banks: liberalization of the banking sector and expansion of entrepreneurial opportunities are needed."

"I expect active and swift steps in solving those problems that hinder economic processes in Ukraine and reduce state budget revenues. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine must ensure the necessary results," the Head of State emphasized.
