The Ukrainian president is in France ahead of a summit of European leaders on Ukraine.
The so-called "coalition of the willing" of countries allied with Ukraine is gathering in Paris to discuss several options for possible forces that could be deployed in the country after a ceasefire with Russia.
Officials said previous discussions at the Paris meeting would focus on a number of issues, such as strengthening Ukraine militarily to deter future attacks and monitoring limited ceasefires on maritime targets and energy infrastructure.
