Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he does not need mediators from other countries or Ukraine to talk to US President-elect Donald Trump. He said this during a meeting of the All-Ukrainian Congress of Local and Regional Authorities, UNN reports.
"We are in a transition period in the United States. I am in contact with President Trump, we have had several meetings and conversations. I don't need any intermediaries in this, from other countries, from various politicians who are promoting this. Frankly speaking, I don't need any intermediaries between me and Trump within our country either," Zelenskyy said.
According to him, Trump's team is actively working with Zelenskyy's team, but it is still an acquaintance.
