According to the information, the vote was 12 to 1 (America), with two abstentions.
The United States, as Israel's main ally, has emphasized the need to resolve the conflict through negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians.
Deputy State Department spokesman Vedant Patel said that "premature action in New York, even with the best of intentions, will not lead to statehood for the Palestinian people.
Patel also noted that there is no consensus on whether Palestine meets the criteria for membership as a state.
