The UN has adopted a resolution calling on Iran to declare its remaining stockpiles of enriched uranium and allow inspectors to verify them, UNN reports.

The 35-nation Board of Governors approved the resolution by a vote of 21 to 3, with 10 abstentions.

As diplomats told Reuters, Russia, China, and Niger voted against the resolution.

Iran's Permanent Mission in Vienna rejected the decision as erroneous, politically motivated, and "lacking professionalism."

"The resolution hypocritically expresses support for a diplomatic solution, while the US simultaneously carries out further acts of aggression, including against Iranian civilian infrastructure, and promotes confrontation in various forums. A diplomatic solution requires, at the very least, good faith."
