Ukrainian fencers Vlada Kharkova and Olena Kryvytska reached the 1/8 finals of the Olympic epee competition.

In the 1/8 finals, Kryvytska defeated Xiao Ruen from Canada 15:14; Kharkiv defeated Yoshimura Miho from Japan 15:10.

In the singles tournament of the 2024 Olympic Games, this is an outstanding result - for the first time in the history of individual fencing, Ukraine is represented by two athletes at this stage.
