Customs clearance for the import of foreign components has been simplified for Ukrainian manufacturers of weapons and military equipment. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, according to UNN.
The obligation to submit a number of documents has been abolished – they must now be reflected in the customs declaration. It is now permitted to submit classified documents and additional information prior to the submission of the customs declaration. The requirement for the advance submission of copies of contracts, technical data sheets, and other documents to customs three days before the start of customs clearance of goods has been canceled
It is noted that the relevant government resolution is intended to accelerate logistics for defense industry enterprises, and consequently, the supply of weapons and equipment to the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
