The RENAULT Duster compact crossover became the bestseller in Ukraine's new car market in April; approximately every 10th car purchased by Ukrainians last month was this model, according to data from the Ukravtoprom association, UNN reports.

According to Ukravtoprom, Ukrainians purchased about 6.2 thousand new passenger cars in April. This is 3% more than in April 2025. Compared to March 2026, the demand for new cars increased by 5%.
The ranking of the most popular models of the month included:
- RENAULT Duster - 579 units;
- TOYOTA RAV-4 - 357 units;
- HYUNDAI Tucson - 211 units;
- BMW 3 - 161 units;
- SKODA Kodiaq - 144 units;
- MAZDA CX5 - 130 units;
- SKODA Karoq - 126 units;
- TOYOTA Yaris Cross - 122 units;
- VOLKSWAGEN Tiguan - 121 units;
- VOLKSWAGEN Touareg - 117 units.
The most popular brands of the month were the Japanese TOYOTA - 760 units (+7% compared to April 2025), RENAULT - 653 units (+19%); SKODA - 450 units (-18%); BYD - 448 units (+53%); BMW - 442 units (+45%).
In total, since the beginning of the year, more than 21.5 thousand new passenger cars have been sold in the country, which is 7% more than last year.
