Ukraine demands the suspension of Russian refugee from World Jiu-Jitsu Games

In a joint statement by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Sports Committee of Ukraine, and the Ukrainian Jiu-Jitsu Representation, it is stated that Dmytro Beshenets, a Russian jiu-jitsu athlete, openly supports Russia's war against Ukraine. In the so-called "neutral status," the Russian athlete, representing Japanese martial arts, is currently allowed to participate in the XII World Games. Ukraine has appealed to the Association of World Games and the Jiu-Jitsu Federation with a request to disqualify the athlete from Russia from participating in the competitions.
