Ukraine allows all women to travel abroad regardless of their positions

The Cabinet of Ministers has lifted restrictions on traveling abroad for all women, regardless of their positions. The new rules apply to female civil servants, judges, and members of parliament.

The Cabinet of Ministers is lifting border crossing restrictions for all women without exception, regardless of their positions. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, reports UNN.

The government is lifting border crossing restrictions for all women without exception, regardless of their positions in state authorities, local self-government bodies, state-owned enterprises, and courts

Earlier, the government lifted restrictions on traveling abroad for a specific category of female officials during martial law.

As the Deputy Prime Minister reported, female employees of state authorities, local self-government bodies, state-owned enterprises, and other designated structures will be able to cross the border without additional restrictions.

However, the changes did not apply to the highest-ranking state officials, key heads of state authorities and their deputies, including members of the Cabinet of Ministers, leadership of ministries and central executive bodies, the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the NSDC, the SBU, the National Bank, as well as for People's Deputies, judges of the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, prosecutors of the Office of the Prosecutor General, and heads of state enterprises and state bodies whose jurisdiction extends to the entire territory of Ukraine.
