According to the statement, in the last few hours, 60 Israeli Air Force fighter jets struck more than 20 military targets in the Iranian capital, Tehran. Among the affected facilities were those related to the development of nuclear weapons and missile production.
As part of a large-scale operation against Iran's nuclear weapons development program, the Israeli Air Force hit facilities for the production of armaments, centrifuges, as well as research and scientific centers involved in the Iranian nuclear program
It is noted that these facilities were intended to expand and accelerate uranium enrichment for the purpose of creating nuclear weapons.
The Israel Defense Forces reported that Iran is enriching uranium significantly above the level required for civilian use, with a focus on reaching high values.

According to the IDF, as part of the latest wave of strikes, factories for the production of cheeses and components for missile assembly, as well as facilities related to the production of Iran's air defense systems, were also hit. These are missiles that Tehran launches at Israeli territory.
"The IDF will continue to act to weaken Iran's missile program and protect Israelis. The IDF will continue actions against Iran's nuclear weapons development program for the protection of the citizens of the State of Israel," the army concluded.
