"At my invitation, a special guest arrived in Ukraine - Pastor Mark Burns, personal spiritual advisor to President Donald Trump. He is a well-known figure in the religious and political circles of the United States, whose voice today has weight in shaping America's new strategy and policy," wrote Moshe Reuven Asman.
According to him, they first went with Pastor Burns to Bucha, Irpen and Borodyanka - "so that he could see with his own eyes the consequences of the Russian army's crimes against the civilian population of Ukraine, and personally hear the memories of witnesses who survived this terrible occupation..." "What he saw deeply impressed him - he did not hide his pain, indignation and sincere sympathy," said Moshe Reuven Asman.
"I am sure that these emotions and testimonies will not remain personal to him. Pastor Burns is a person who has the opportunity to be heard where big decisions are made. And I believe that the voice of truth from Ukraine will be conveyed to the very heart of the new American leadership," said the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine.
