The United States has completed a third consecutive night of massive strikes on Iranian military facilities, and Tehran in response attacked a U.S. base in Bahrain and claimed to have struck tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. CNN reports this, writes UNN.

According to the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), American forces completed another five-hour operation during which precision munitions struck military targets in Bushehr, Chabahar, Jask, Konarak, Abu Musa Island, and Bandar Abbas. CENTCOM stated that the strikes targeted Iran's coastal defense systems, missile complexes, drones, and naval capabilities used to attack commercial shipping.

In response, Iran launched several waves of missile and drone attacks on Bahrain. The country declared air raid alerts twice, and authorities urged the population to immediately head to shelters. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed to have destroyed weapons depots, a satellite communications center, and a building where U.S. military personnel were allegedly located at the Juffair base. However, there is currently no independent confirmation of these claims.
Additionally, Jordan reported intercepting four Iranian missiles, debris from which fell on its territory. Also, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed that its forces struck and disabled two tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. There is also no independent confirmation of this information yet.
