The Ukrainian government is attracting more than $1 billion in concessional loans from the World Bank, with support from the governments of Japan and the United Kingdom. In addition, an additional 150 million euros from the European Union will be used to restore port infrastructure and implement rapid recovery projects. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a government meeting, UNN reports.

He noted that another important decision made today involves attracting an additional €150 million from the European Union. These funds will be used to restore port infrastructure and implement rapid recovery projects.
Of this amount, €65 million will be allocated to finance the free meals program for primary school students in 2025. This initiative of the President of Ukraine, which has already been successful, is now provided with the necessary resources to continue next year.
