The State Property Fund of Ukraine will put up four large objects for privatization auctions in October, including state-owned enterprises and confiscated sanctioned assets. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy and Environment of Ukraine, writes UNN.
This is another step towards attracting private investment, restoring the operation of large enterprises, creating and bringing back jobs, as well as transforming assets that have not been working for years or belonged to Russian owners into a resource for Ukraine's development
Schedule of auctions:
- October 13 – PJSC «Sumykhimprom»;
- October 19 – JSC «Odesa Portside Plant»;
- October 20 – LLC «Demurinsky Mining and Processing Plant» (sanctioned asset);
- October 20 – LLC «Motordetal-Konotop» (sanctioned asset).
All objects will be sold through the electronic trading system Prozorro.Sales.
It is noted that 100% of the proceeds from the sale of confiscated sanctioned assets will go to the Fund for Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression.
Funds from the privatization of state-owned enterprises go to the state budget of Ukraine and are directed to finance the security and defense sector, in particular to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
