During the night of August 11, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the Orsknefteorgsintez oil refinery in the Orenburg region. A fire was recorded; the extent of the damage is being уточнено.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that the Defense Forces struck an oil refinery in Orsk, Russia, reports UNN.

During the night of August 11, 2026, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the Orsknefteorgsintez oil refinery in Russia’s Orenburg region. A fire was recorded

"Orsknefteorgsintez" is one of the largest oil refineries in the Orenburg region and an important enterprise in Russia’s fuel and energy sector.

The refinery has a capacity of approximately 6 million tonnes of oil per year. The enterprise produces motor gasoline, diesel and aviation fuel, fuel oil, bitumen, and other petroleum products.

The extent of the damage is being clarified.
