The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the strike on the "Taneco" oil refinery in Tatarstan and clarified the results of the strikes on the "Ilsky" oil refinery and an airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea, UNN reports.
On the night of August 10, 2026, as part of efforts to reduce the military potential of the Russian aggressor, units of Ukraine's Defense Forces struck the "Taneco" oil refinery (Nizhnekamsk, Republic of Tatarstan, russia). A fire was recorded at the facility
"In addition, a repair unit in Khrustalnyi, Luhansk region, was struck. Our soldiers also hit an enemy logistics depot in Novoselidivka, Donetsk region. Furthermore, a field artillery depot in Boiove, Donetsk region, was struck," the General Staff said in a statement.
The extent of the damage is being clarified.
"As a result of the strike on the 'Ilsky' oil refinery on August 8, 2026, in Russia's Krasnodar Krai, damage to the AVT-6 primary oil refining column was confirmed," the General Staff added.
"As a result of the strike on August 3, 2026, on the 'Hvardiiske' airfield in the TOT of Ukrainian Crimea, the destruction of nine horizontal aviation-fuel tanks and damage to two hangars for aviation equipment were confirmed," the General Staff stated.
