Sydney celebrated New Year's Eve 2025 with a large-scale fireworks display over the harbor and bridge. More than a million spectators were expected to attend the event, which featured a performance by Robbie Williams and indigenous ceremonies.

More than 1 million people were expected  to gather in Sydney Harbor for the traditional fireworks. British pop star Robbie Williams will perform, and indigenous ceremonies and performances will pay tribute to the first inhabitants of this land.

New Zealand has officially celebrated the New Year, becoming one of the first countries in the world to switch to 2024. A spectacular fireworks show over the Sky Tower in Auckland was the main event of the night.
