Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha met with the leader of the Belarusian opposition Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, according to UNN.
"We discussed the development of the situation in Belarus and the growing security threats caused by Russia through the use of Belarusian territory. Moscow is increasingly dragging Belarus into its war against Ukraine, turning it into a platform for aggression not only against our state but also against Europe as a whole,"
Sybiha emphasizes that it is important for the Belarusian people not to become hostages of the Lukashenko regime, which bears full responsibility for facilitating the aggression.
"We will continue to engage with democratic Belarusian forces to ensure regional security, stability, and a future in which Belarus contributes to peace, not war."
"The Belarusian people will certainly be free from this aggressive authoritarian regime. And an independent and free Belarus will take its rightful place in the European democratic community,"
