F-16 fighters will not become a "silver bullet" for the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the war with Russia and will not change the situation on the battlefield, but will enhance the ability of the Ukrainian military to repel Russian attacks. This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in an interview with German Bild, UNN reports .
Details
The fact that NATO allies are providing F-16s, as well as training pilots and weapons for F-16s, is another example of the significant military support from NATO allies for Ukraine. But no system can change the situation on the battlefield. This is not a silver bullet that will change the whole war. However, F-16s are important. They will further strengthen Ukraine's ability to repel Russian aggression
He noted that he welcomed the fact that the allies are now working diligently on these deliveries, as well as training pilots and technicians for the F-16.
Recall
Several groups of Ukrainian pilots are being trained in different countries to fly the F-16 . Two advanced groups in Denmark and the United States are already honing their skills on F-16s.
