The State Border Guard Service temporarily bans all tourists from climbing Pip Ivan and a number of other routes in Verkhovyna district due to additional temporary restrictions imposed in Zelenskiy and Biloberetska communities.

Border guards have introduced additional temporary restrictions in the Zelenska and Biloberetska communities of Verkhovyna district. In particular, it is forbidden to visit such popular tourist routes as Pip Ivan and Brebeneskul. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service, UNN reports.

The annex to the order with the list of restrictions was published on July 10. According to the document, in Verkhovyna district, it is forbidden to visit the tourist routes of the Pohorilets tract, Hajny, Podorovatyi, Ugrian Skely, Krynta meadow, Lukovytsia, Shyroka and Vesnerka, Chivchyn mountains, Smotryn, Vuhatyi Kamen, Pip Ivan, Berebenskul, Pozhyzhevska Mergul, Turkul, Mala Hoverla, Breskul, Kostrych, Yavirnyk, Popadia, Masnyi Pryslip, Goichna, Dukonya, Pnivye, Lake Maricheika, and Kryvopil Pass.

Restrictions also apply to entry into the 5-kilometer border strip, which requires a permit from the State Border Guard Service. Vehicular traffic during the curfew is prohibited, except for persons traveling abroad and truck drivers engaged in multimodal transportation.

In the border area, it is prohibited to stop vehicles for more than 20 minutes, unless they are related to technical malfunctions, as well as to stop on the roadsides outside the established parking lots (except for local residents). It is not allowed to use roads that are not listed in the register of highways and lead to the state border.

Drivers are prohibited from transporting people who do not have permits from the State Border Guard Service. Hunting, use of night vision devices, radio stations, and flying drones are also prohibited.

The State Border Guard Service noted that these restrictions do not apply to employees of state bodies, local governments, law enforcement, civil defense, the Armed Forces and other military formations.
