Global trust in the United States is at stake because of White House chief Donald Trump's attitude to the war in Ukraine. This was stated in an interview with Sky News by Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, reports UNN.

According to the diplomat, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin wants "all of Ukraine."
Trump is able to change his policy quite quickly. ... Trump only cares about success, but trust in the United States depends on the quality of the decision.
During his visit to Great Britain, he also spoke at the Royal College of Defence Studies in London. In particular, he stated that contrary to what Russian propaganda says, Moscow is not invincible. The Polish Foreign Minister reminded that Russia had lost:
- The Crimean War of 1856;
- The war with Japan in 1905;
- The First World War;
- The Polish-Bolshevik war of 1920, which saved Europe from the fall of the communist regime;
- The war in Afghanistan;
- The Cold War.
According to Sikorski, each of these defeats shook the Kremlin, forcing the authorities to carry out reforms.
"Putin has never come to terms with the collapse of the Soviet Union and decided to take revenge. The new axis of autocracy threatens our values, security and way of life. Our task is to prevent a larger conflict. Our task is to win. Together, as an international democratic alliance, we can do it," said the Polish politician.

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski in Brussels sharply criticized Hungary's position, which is preventing the start of negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU. He stressed that Budapest's decision is based not on European criteria, but on bilateral issues.
