One person was killed and fifteen others were wounded over the past day as a result of enemy shelling in the Sumy region. This was reported by the National Police, according to UNN.

It is noted that in the Konotop community, one person was killed and 12 other civilians were injured as a result of the attack. In addition:
- in the Shostka community, one civilian was wounded;
- in the Buryn community, two civilians were injured as a result of enemy strikes.

On the night of Wednesday, May 20, the Sumy region suffered massive attacks by enemy UAVs. Hits by Russian drones were recorded in the residential sector of the Konotop and Shostka communities.
