The IT company SharksCode has become a member of the AI Committee of the IT Ukraine Association — a union of leading Ukrainian tech companies that together shape the country's AI development strategy.
"The AI Committee's work focuses on AI regulation, interaction with the state, sharing practical experience in implementing AI solutions, and developing the responsible use of AI in business. The Committee actively involves companies in discussing current market challenges and forming joint initiatives in the field of artificial intelligence. One of the priorities is also the promotion of effective and safe Ukrainian AI solutions and creating conditions for their scaling, particularly through participation in international technology events," the IT Ukraine Association notes.
The company SharksCode, which is already a member of the IT Ukraine Association, joined the AI Committee in May 2026. Participation in the committee provides SharksCode with direct access to dialogue with government structures and leading tech companies. The company plans to share practical experience in implementing AI solutions and contribute to shaping approaches for the development of the AI industry in Ukraine.

The company will be represented in the AI Committee by Svitlana Onishchenko, Chief Human Resources Officer at SharksCode. The choice of the CHRO as the official representative is not accidental. The HR department was the first where SharksCode systematically implemented its own AI solutions, accumulating significant practical expertise. This refers to Akulina — an AI agent that has completely replaced adaptive HR onboarding. Akulina independently takes over at least 12 hours of a people partner's work with each new employee, freeing up the team for higher-level tasks.
According to Svitlana Onishchenko, the company is consistently building its own ecosystem of AI agents that are already working in real business processes. In addition to Akulina, a sourcing agent for recruitment is already functioning. A managerial version of Akulina and an agent for tracking the hiring funnel are currently in the testing phase.
