According to the UNN interlocutor, "tonight, drones of the SBU's Alpha Special Operations Center caused a large-scale fire at the linear production and dispatch station "Samara" in the settlement of Prosvet, Samara region of the Russian Federation."

At this station, according to the source, high- and low-sulfur oil from various fields is mixed to form the Urals export grade. The facility is an important component of Russia's oil transportation infrastructure.

According to preliminary data, as the interlocutor reported, "SBU drones damaged five reservoirs with a capacity of 20 thousand cubic meters each with crude oil."

"The damage to such nodal stations directly reduces Russia's ability to form export batches of oil and fulfill contractual obligations. The balance of raw materials is disrupted, logistics and storage costs increase, and there are risks of supply disruptions. As a result, Russia receives less and less revenue from oil sales, which it can direct to the war against Ukraine," an informed source in the SBU said.
