According to reports, russians are once again spreading fake information about Ukraine. This time, the propaganda Telegram channel is spreading "news" about the results of a missile strike in Kharkiv region, during which the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Syrsky and the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate Budanov were "eliminated.
However, according to the investigation, this is not the first time that such fakes have been published by russian media. In particular, since 2022, there have been regular reports of the "liquidation" of senior Ukrainian commanders. This time, such a false report also fits into a campaign to stir up hysteria about the situation in Kharkiv.
It is worth noting that some russian media even managed to recognize this information as a "mistake".
