An agent of the russian FSB, who was monitoring the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces artillery, was sentenced to 15 years in prison. This was reported by the press service of the SBU, UNN reports.
Details
The SBU CI detained the offender in October 2022 during counter-sabotage operations in Dnipro region.
The perpetrator tried to identify possible combat positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces artillery on the frontline territory of the region.
Based on the evidence collected by the SBU investigators, the court found the offender guilty under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law) and sentenced him to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property

Investigators found out that the traitor was primarily interested in the locations of HIMARS rocket artillery systems and M777 high-precision howitzers.
In addition, the russian agent recorded the consequences of the aggressor's air attacks on energy facilities in the southern part of the region.
The defendant sent information about enemy "arrivals" to the occupiers to prepare new and adjust repeated missile and drone strikes.
