Russia wants to send employees of private security organizations to defend the Kursk region. This is reported by The Moscow Times with reference to a Russian oppositionist, UNN reports.

These are primarily security guards from companies owned by state corporations, including Rosneft. There, weapons were distributed to employees with combat experience and former Wagnerites
Security organizations of other state-owned corporations are also preparing to deploy to the Kursk region
It should be noted that Ukraine has not officially commented on the situation in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.

The Institute for the Study of War claims that the Russian command is redeploying experienced units to the Kursk region, considering its defense a higher priority than the offensive in Kharkiv region. This may indicate a serious assessment of the situation in the region.
