russia may stop the work of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) mission at the Zaporizhzhya NPP. This statement was issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the aggressor country, UNN reports.

Details

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reacted with hostility to an interview with IAEA Head Rafael Grossi, who told the German news agency DPA that the Agency's representatives would stay at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant "until the war is frozen.

In a statement, the russian Foreign Ministry said that such statements are beyond Grossi's competence. It claims that the IAEA Secretariat experts are at ZNPP "at the request of Director General" Rafael Grossi himself and only as long as the aggressor country "considers their stay there to be justified."
