While the Russian army strikes Ukrainian civilian infrastructure, the Russian authorities are increasingly saving on their own healthcare system, redirecting resources to fund the war. This is reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (CCD), informs UNN.

It is noted that in recent years, Russia has already significantly reduced the number of hospital beds and medical departments, especially in therapeutic, surgical, and gynecological profiles.
Now the process is only accelerating due to the worsening financial situation of the regions and the maintenance of record military spending
The CCD points out that this is how the war is gradually entering every Russian home.
"It manifests itself not only through losses at the front, but also in closed hospitals and the inability to receive medical care in a timely manner. The longer the Kremlin chooses war over the needs of its own population, the more tangible the consequences of this choice will become for the Russians themselves," the CCD summarizes.
