The Verkhovna Rada failed to support bill No. 12191 on the decriminalization of pornography in Ukraine, members of parliament reported, UNN writes.

"No. 12191 – the law on the decriminalization of porn. 'For' the first reading - 207," MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak wrote on social media.
The required number of votes for the document to pass is 226.
"In modern democratic Ukraine, people will continue to be thrown in prison for 7 years for adults sending each other their nude photos," commented Zheleznyak, who is among the co-authors of the document.
Recall
The Parliamentary Committee on Law Enforcement Activities supported bill No. 12191 on the "decriminalization of porn" back in 2024.
The document was intended to amend Article 301 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding the storage and distribution of intimate content.
Last year, a petition regarding the decriminalization of pornography, created by OnlyFans model Svitlana Dvornikova, gathered over 25,000 signatures.
