Polish prime minister Donald Tusk said on Tuesday that Warsaw does not accept the Free Trade Agreement concluded by the European Union and the Mercosur bloc.
"Poland does not agree, and we are not alone, we will not accept an agreement in this form with the countries of South America, that is, with the Mercosur group, on free trade," Prime Minister Tusk said before a government meeting.
Poland's deputy prime minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz said Warsaw, which was visited by the French agriculture minister on Friday, has already joined Paris in this effort.
"Diplomatic actions are being taken to create a minority that will block" the entry into force of the agreement, Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh told reporters.
