President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that today "Ukrainian long-range sanctions" are in Perm again, and that there are results in other Russian cities as well – the range has reached almost 2,000 kilometers from the border, UNN reports.
"I am grateful to our warriors for their accuracy. Today, Ukrainian long-range sanctions are in Perm again: that is over 1,500 kilometers from our border. Recently, there were also important results in Chelyabinsk – up to 1,800 kilometers – as well as in Yekaterinburg – almost 2,000 kilometers. The consequences of Ukrainian long-range capabilities were also felt in Novorossiysk, Krymsk, Tuapse, and the Samara and Nizhny Novgorod regions,"
The President emphasized that "we have repeatedly offered the Russian leadership to move towards peace." "In response, we received only new Russian strikes. Therefore, that is exactly why Ukrainian long-range sanctions are moving towards remote Russian locations related to Russia's military industry, war infrastructure, and the financing of aggression," he noted.
"Every day, Russia can make a choice and stop its war. And not for a few hours to get our permission to hold a parade in Moscow, but in a way that saves people's lives. People should be valued, not parades. Peace must be established, not running around the world's capitals begging for a pause for May 9th. Peace is needed. I thank everyone who helps Russia realize this," Zelenskyy stressed.
