According to Pashinyan, Yerevan will develop alternative transport and energy routes.
"We will not rely on one road, one ally, or one pipeline. We will have our own gas,"
The Prime Minister also stated that a new gas pipeline would pass through Armenian territory, and the country would receive part of the transit fee in gas.
Pashinyan responded to Lukashenko
The Armenian Prime Minister reacted sharply to Lukashenko's words that "nobody needs Armenia."
"My great merit is that the people have an alternative, so that no one can say: 'Who needs Armenia, where will it go?'"
He added that the country is "becoming a crossroads of peace," necessary "to both the West and the East, the North and the South."
Pashinyan also stated that Armenia does not yet plan to withdraw from the Eurasian Economic Union but will continue reforms according to European standards.
"As soon as the time comes to make a choice, the people of Armenia will make that choice,"
The Prime Minister emphasized that he would use his leverage in the EAEU "so that Lukashenko cannot use the union against Armenia."
