President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that Russia uses North Korean soldiers as "cannon fodder" and teaches modern methods of war, in particular working with drones. He stated this in an interview with Kyodo News, reports UNN.
Zelensky did not say how many North Koreans were killed in October and November, but said there was evidence that about 12,000 North Korean soldiers were deployed in the Kursk region.
He suggests that in the future, Russia will send a significant number of North Korean soldiers to the front line, using them as "cannon fodder" to reduce losses among its own military.
According to him, Russia is trying to attract tens of thousands of North Korean military personnel, providing them with good conditions.

At the same time, the key threat is that these soldiers will receive training from the Russian military in real combat conditions and master modern methods of warfare, including the use of drones and other latest technologies.
Zelensky warns that if this knowledge is returned to North Korea, it will have a significant impact on security in Asia and other regions.
recall
According to intelligence data, 2 thousand troops of the DPRK were sent to the Marine Brigade and Airborne Division of the Russian Federation, which will mean three options for the development of events: either they will participate in active combat operations on the territory of Ukraine, or the Russian Federation, or they will remain in the combat reserve on the second line.
