President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting on diplomatic strikes. He noted that the plan of Ukraine's long-range sanctions against Russia for this war is being implemented in accordance with the defined priorities. This was reported by UNN citing Zelensky's post on Telegram.
Details
We have already proven that Ukrainian drones can reach, in particular, targets in the Ural region, in Siberia, and other lands remote from Moscow. Only this year, since the start of our long-range sanctions plan, more than a thousand fire missions have already been completed. Oil facilities, critical military production facilities, and systemically important objects of Russian logistics have been struck
He added that the buildup of Ukrainian capabilities to operate at greater distances continues.
The existence of strategic depth in the rear, which for a long time was a Russian advantage, is now becoming a particular problem for the political and military leadership of Russia, since the majority of Russian air defense is concentrated around Moscow, state residences, the Crimean bridge, and St. Petersburg
During the meeting, the continuation of operations was discussed and the list of priority targets was updated - in accordance with the real impact on Russia and its ability to continue and prolong this war.
The main goal is for our long-range pressure to further push Russia toward diplomacy through complicating the production of weapons components, oil and other economic losses, and returning this war to its "home port"
Recall
President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that during this week, Russia launched nearly 1,700 drones, over 1,630 aerial bombs, and 95 missiles of various types at Ukraine, more than half of which were ballistic.
