In temporarily occupied Melitopol, the occupiers continue to ramp up their campaign to recruit the population into the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces. This is reported by the National Resistance Center of the SOF of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (NRC), UNN informs.

It is noted that business cards, advertising leaflets, posters, and billboards calling for people to join unmanned systems units are increasingly appearing on the city streets, in public places, and near administrative buildings.

In the propaganda materials, the Russian army promises high payments, social guarantees, training in modern technologies, and service allegedly far from the front line. Special emphasis is placed on UAV units, which are presented as a prestigious and safe direction of service

It is indicated that advertising materials are being mass-placed throughout the city. Potential recruits are promised high salaries and various benefits.

"Service in UAV units is positioned as working with modern technologies. The main calculation is made on people who find themselves in a difficult financial situation," the NRC stated.
