According to the newspaper, so far the FBI has found no evidence of mental illness or threatening behavior on the Internet. Investigators also found no indication that Crooks had any problems with law enforcement before the incident.
Separately, Royek said that Thomas Crooks was not affiliated with any particular ideology, but the FBI is still combing through his social media and other property for evidence.
