Norway will join the "Danish format" of support for Ukraine, which provides for direct financing of the production of weapons and equipment in Ukraine. This was reported by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov on his Facebook page, UNN reports.
During the visit to Oslo, we agreed with Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre and Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram that Norway would join the "Danish format" of support - direct financing of production in Ukraine. This will allow us to produce and supply the necessary weapons for our Defense Forces faster
According to him, the meeting discussed a new model of investing in Ukrainian defense technology companies - the "Norwegian model". The Minister noted that the details of the new format will be announced later.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine have signed implementation agreements with the Ministry of Defense of Denmark, which define projects, financing and arms deliveries.
