On Tuesday, March 12, the newly elected head of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, Viktor Pavlushchyk, held his first meeting with ambassadors of the G7 countries accredited to Ukraine and the head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine. This is reported by the NAPC press service, UNN reports.

The diplomats congratulated the NACP head on winning the competition, noted the openness and transparency of the competition commission's work and assured of their continued support for the National Agency.
During the meeting, Viktor Pavlushchyk presented his vision of further development of the NACP.
According to him, his priorities include team cohesion for sustainable effective work, improvement of the declaration process and its further automation, optimization and simplification of explanations for public officials.
He also emphasized the importance of coordinating the implementation of the State Anti-Corruption Program (SAP) and preventing corruption risks in the most corruption-affected areas.
The G7 ambassadors also assured that they rely on the National Agency to develop anti-corruption policy, implement the Transparency Register based on the Law "On Fair Lobbying", and take all measures to create zero tolerance to corruption in the society.
Ukraine and Ukrainians have made their choice - this is the path to the EU and European institutions. We have no other choice but to win on the battlefield and overcome corruption inside the country. The NACP will exercise all its legally established powers and is ready for new challenges

The meeting was attended by the ambassadors of the G7 countries accredited to Ukraine, including: Pier Francesco Zazzo (Ambassador of Italy to Ukraine), Gael Weissier (Ambassador of France to Ukraine), Matsuda Kuninori (Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine), Katarina Mathernova (EU Ambassador to Ukraine, Head of the EU Delegation), Robert Needham (Chargé d'Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine), Tim Pranghe (Chargé d'Affaires of the German Embassy in Ukraine), Sheriff Nagy (Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Canada in Ukraine).

Last month , the Special Commission elected Viktor Pavlushchyk as the new head of the NACP. Before that, he worked as the head of the NABU's detective department.
