NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte welcomed the agreement between Ukraine and Norway to deepen cooperation in the field of security and defense. He stated this during a speech alongside Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, UNN reports.

According to Rutte, the new agreement provides for expanded interaction between the countries, including support for the production of drones for the Ukrainian defense forces.
"I welcome the agreement between Norway and Ukraine to deepen cooperation in the field of defense and security, including support for drone production. This will help strengthen Ukraine's ability to defend itself and continue the fight against Russian aggression,"
He emphasized that further strengthening defense cooperation between allies and Ukraine is an important component of supporting Kyiv in the face of the ongoing war.
