In the coming days, Secretary of Homeland Security Christie Noem is expected to send an email to her department's staff outlining the expected cuts, and a separate email is being drafted detailing potential options for employees regarding voluntary dismissal and early retirement.
"The cuts at the Secret Service come at a particularly difficult time for an agency that is feeling the strain of what senior officials have called an unprecedented and dynamic threat environment, including two assassination attempts against President Donald Trump last summer. The agency has been crippled by low morale, attrition, staff shortages and retention problems," the publication concludes.

Reductions have begun in American healthcare institutions as part of the reorganization. Up to 10,000 people are expected to be laid off due to the reform of the ministry.
