Andriy Sybiha will take part in a meeting of the EU Council of Foreign Ministers and an event on the release of Ukrainians held by Russia. Key topics are sanctions, air defense, and Ukraine's accession to the EU.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha will make a working visit to Brussels on July 13. He will take part in a meeting of the Council of the European Union Foreign Affairs, as well as in a high-level thematic event dedicated to EU support for Ukraine's efforts to release illegally detained Ukrainian civilians by russia. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Details

Sybiha is also expected to speak at the meeting of the EU Council of Foreign Ministers.

Key topics will include strengthening sanctions pressure on russia, adopting the 21st EU sanctions package, strengthening air defense capabilities and defense support for Ukraine, building a European anti-ballistic coalition, opening negotiation clusters on Ukraine's path to EU accession, and bringing peace closer

The ministry added that this event will be dedicated to coordinating further efforts to return Ukrainian civilians illegally detained by russia, strengthening international support for Ukraine, and drawing attention to russia's systematic violations of international humanitarian law and human rights.
