Law enforcement officers neutralized a criminal group that was burning down the official vehicles of the Defense Forces in western Ukraine on the "order" of Russia. In particular, they detained the leader of the gang, who worked for the intelligence of the aggressor country. This was stated by the SBU, UNN reports.

Details

It is noted that the detainee is a resident of Khmelnytsky region, who himself came to the occupiers to establish cooperation with them in exchange for money.

Investigators found out that the man posted his "resume" on the darknet, where he offered "services" in setting fire to the vehicles of the TCC. A representative of the Russian Federation responded to the defendant's "ad" and gave him a task to destroy military vehicles in Khmelnytsky.

The SBU Military Counterintelligence jointly with the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police documented the subversive activities of the criminal group and detained its organizer in hot pursuit. During the searches, SBU officers seized mobile phones and SIM cards he used to communicate with the aggressor.
