"The enemies, be it the Zionist regime or the US, will definitely receive a crushing response to what they are doing to Iran, the Iranian people and the resistance front," Khamenei said in a video message.
Iran's supreme leader did not specify the timing of the alleged attack or its scale.
The U.S. military operates bases throughout the Middle East, with some troops now manning a THAAD battery in Israel.
