In the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, the first difficulties with harvesting are being observed. Some agricultural enterprises and farms are facing a shortage of diesel fuel needed for the operation of harvesting equipment. This is reported by the Center for National Resistance of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (CNR), informs UNN.
Details
It is noted that the reasons are the complicated delivery of fuel to the temporarily occupied territories, as well as established restrictions on the sale of large volumes of fuel. This complicates the replenishment of supplies precisely during the active harvesting campaign.
A significant portion of the available fuel is directed to meet the needs of Russian military units. Against this background, the reserves remaining at the disposal of the agricultural sector are gradually decreasing, which affects the pace of field work
It is indicated that in the event of a further fuel shortage, individual farms may be forced to revise equipment work schedules or postpone part of the harvesting work, which creates additional difficulties for conducting the harvest.
Recall
After a series of precise strikes by the Defense Forces of Ukraine on Russian military logistics, the occupiers faced not only a shortage of fuel and ammunition, but also a shortage of drivers capable of ensuring the supply of military cargo.
