On the night of July 31, near Wrocław, Poland, a traffic accident occurred involving an Audi car carrying seven Ukrainian citizens. The car veered off the road, first hitting a road sign and then a tree. This was reported by the Main Police Headquarters of Wrocław, writes UNN.

According to the investigation, the driver and all passengers were under the influence of alcohol. Later, the driver's brother arrived at the scene, but as law enforcement officers found out, he was also driving under the influence.
Police spokesperson Aleksandra Freus confirmed to BBC News Ukraine that the driver and all passengers of the car are citizens of Ukraine. The car contained five women and two men aged 19 to 27. Four female passengers were taken to hospitals; one of the Ukrainian citizens was in the trunk and sustained a spinal fracture.
The police noted that at the time of the accident, the driver was also under the influence of alcohol. Law enforcement officers also established that he got behind the wheel despite an active court ban on driving vehicles.
The man was detained. He faces up to 12 years in prison, a lifetime driving ban, and deportation from Poland.
The final legal classification of the case will be determined after the completion of the investigation and analysis of all evidence.
